Breast Reduction

Hello everyone. This question is not about a reduction after weight loss but I figured someone here may know the answer. My 15 year old daughter is slim but has 40F bra size. She has back and shoulder pain and can not find shirts that fit. Does anyone know the minimum age to have a breast reduction done? Thanks.

Here is the answer I received back..via email from, Ellen nurse to Dr. Kurtis Martin (plastic surgeon) Hi. Regarding the minimal age for breast reduction, after 16 years of age is usually appropriate. One must be certain that the individual has reached full growth, and has been menstruating for at least a couple of years. This will ensure complete growth of the breasts which is important when planning the surgery. Some unique considerations may be important, so the plans may vary from person to person.
