Problems, problems and more problems

I have gotten so close to having my surgery, and everytime I do, something happens to put it off. Well, I got passed all the red tape for it, and then right out of the blue, I lose my my medical card. No explanations, nothing. I am just now ineligible. Before I was allowed to have it because of my weight. My fiancee is wanting to add me to his insurance, CHA Health, and since we are not married, they don't want to add me. And of course, he doesn't want to marry me for the insurance. lol I am at a loss right now, I don't know what to do.... OK I feel better now, I just needed to vent........

So sorry for all your problems. I know it must suck I had also lost my med card and knew I had hernia repair operaion coming up. So my hrs at work had to be cut way down so I could keep it went from 40+ hrs a wk down to could not get over 23. With tat i did not get any bennafits at work either. I had my hernia repair the wed b-4 christmas so as soon as dr releases me I'm gonna pick back up my hrs I had also got a thig from med card says if you had been on med card for a yr or more then when you do get your own ins it will pay on things you had b-4 and ot haft to wait a yr. I would be calling and talking to someone why they took away your card. Then not to give you a reason appeal it.Hope all woks out for you Take care Huggggs Beth

What I don't understand is I don't work. I am in school full time. My boyfriend works. My daughter gets to keep medicaid, so I don't understand. If he makes too much for me to have medicaid, then wouldn't he make to much for her to have it also? If I can get on my b/f insurance, then I can pay the deductible. His insurance is CHA Health. I think the deductible is like $250. But I am not worried about it right now, when I found out more about what is going on, then I will dig into it. I am going to call about the insurance. I can't work, so I should be able to get it. Thanks
