hernia repair TT

Hello All hope you all had a wonderful christmas and New Years. I did even tho I was recovering. Had my hernia repair and TT the wd b-4 Christmas. Much better now but the day of operation did not do good. Got in their at 730 in mor they put me in a room at 8.00 that night. Was having problems with my breathing and they was gonna send me home andI told them I aint going home I'm gonna stay at least one nite.LOL and anyone who knows me knows I had to know I was not doing good to say I was gonna stay. AnywaysI had a nurse from hell in recovery room. Shesat me straight up in bed I start screaming put me back down it hurtsto bad like that and she tells me let go ofside rails on bed b-4 you break them and prys my hands lose me still screaming cause in so much pain. Then she finally lets me back down some.If I could have got a holt of her and not bed rails ...lol she would have been in bed also. I'm gonna tell my dr about on the 5th when I go for check up. well guess this is it hugggggs Beth

Beth, glad you are home, DO tell dr. argotte about the nurse!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can not believe she sat you up. that was painful, I remember!! I got to stay the night on the 29th on the 5th floor, the 6th was full, I went to my appointment and showed doc my swollen left foot and leg, he sent me for an ultra sound and a blood clot was found... I was put on blood thinners and the next night when doc made his rounds he said I could go home... so I did, I am still hurting up under my ribs!!!!!! I know he did a lot and he also had to shave off part of my sternum bone since it was sticking out so far. I just hope this pain finally goes away, I have to be able to travel 700 miles one the 18th to see my son graduate Marine boot camp.... Beth I hope you are doing well. Donna
