I heard that the Kentucky medical card covers the gastric bypass surgery. Is that true and if so what doctors accept the card

Yes, Edwina the card covers the surgery if it proven medically necessary. My doctor was Dr. Rodriquez, in Louisville, but I'm not sure who else accepts the card.

I have a ky medical card I am going to Dr. Nease in Cabell Huntington in WV they tell me it is easy to get approved it your bmi is over 40 Good Luck I am waiting on a date for mine

Edwina Helo yes it paid for al m operation and stay n hosp and all the after visits I have had. I have dr Argotta in Paducah. His phone no# (270) 538-5850 He is also starting to do the lapban now.
