Psych evaluation question

Hey guys, just wondering if anyone knows any shrinks that take medicaid? I wanted to go ahead and get it done. preferably in eastern ky. Thanks.

Hey Anthony, Does the dr. you are using refer his patients to certain ones? The reason i am asking is because it seems like the few people i know that gets refered by the bariatric dr. doesn't get such a detailed screening. One of my friends for instance went to comprehensive care for evaluation, instead of driving to louisville. They done a real intense screening, she said that alot of it didn't even have anything to do with the surgery. Alot more questions than i had. Comp. cares evaluation didn't think she was a canidate for the surgery. She is now going to get a second evaluation from one of the drs that bariatrics use. As far as medicaid paying it. Your dr. can refer you to one that will take your card. Hope this helps. D

iam having same problem kim with dr nease says medical card does not cover a doctor at pathways is $140

hey, i was just reading about your question, i went through a place in maysville called comprehend, my medicaid covered it,

The only dr i know of that may be of help to u, is dr. prater at pathways. he doesnt take the medical card, but he does let u pay some money down and pay payments. i hope this may help. i called and talked to him directly.

Thanks Sabrina, I see you have dr nease too. kim gave me the number to that place but I was looking for one that will take medicaid. haven't had any luck finding one though so I'll probably give them a call. take care.
