Dr. Sonnastine was wonderful
My surgery was Monday, I was home yesterday and I owe my success to a great and dedicated surgeon. He was in and out of my room each day
3-4 times. He expected my care to be only the best by the nursing staff. At St. Luke West I was taken care of by nurses who had the surgery. 2 days my nurse only had one patient and that was me. She also had the surgery from Dr. Sonnastine, she was 8 weeks out and looked great. I just can't believe my stay and surgery was totally uneventful and I have Dr. Sonnastine to thank for that.
I'm starting my stage 3 today, having a little carnation instant breakfast and boy it taste like a million bucks.
lol Hey Jane..I had to laugh when I read that last line..oh YUM carnation instant breakfast..you are doing great, you had alot of determination in the hospital as I stood there talking to someone in the hall you went buzzing by me hanging on to your IV pump. I am sure you are going to do great!!
I have to agree Dr. Sonnanstine is the best..I have been visiting his patients for a year now..then more recently been spending time with him as his patient advocate..He truely is an awesome surgeon and person, I don't know if I have ever seen anyone more dedicated. I told you that morning he isn't lying when he says he will see you 4-5 times a day..that's just the way he is..You will have time with Beth and Taryn over the next few weeks..you will find them just as awesome..his entire staff is very dedicated to helping people gain their life back. I am glad you chose this center..I really enjoyed meeting you and your family ..
Take care and keep us informed of how you are doing!
