I've been a bad girl, first time online since July!!!

Hello everyone!!! Wow, I haven't been online in a long time! *Smacks own hand* So much has been happening lately. I went to my initial consult on 10/5/05 and got approval from the Nurse Practitioner, Dietician, and Psychologist!!! The psychologist was the worst part. There was a 344 question test followed by an hour long session. I started crying (of course) about 10 minutes into the session and I thought he would write me off as nutso, but he didn't. He had already scored my test and after we were done, he told me that everything was well within normal range except that I have a preoccupation with what others think of me. He said that this is fairly normal for morbidly obese people though. He did say that after surgery, my PCP will want to monitor my Lexapro because he says I will mourn the loss of food as a death. On 10/14/05 (yesterday), I went for an appointment with my PCP. She filled out my forms for my physical and my 6 month supervised diet. I'll be faxing them to the insurance coordinator at the surgeon's office on Monday and then we submit to insurance!!! Everyone says that I have an EXCELLENT chance of being approved. The way they are talking, surgery could be as soon as December, but I told them I would rather wait until after the Holidays (read January 2nd!!!), just in case. At this point, I'm asking that everyone keep me in their thoughts and prayers that the insurance will be both speedy and fair in their decision.
