Surgery date changed

I was to have surgery on May 13th, but do to a small accident I had it has been changed to May 19th. You see, I was moving my furniture around in the living room, and my recliner fell back and landed on my foot. Nothing happened for 3 days, and then it turned black and blue. About 4 days later, the nail started to come off. I went to my PCP and he told me to use Hydrogen Proxide(SP), and all it did was blister my skin and now the skin is peeling. Had to go to Wound Care yesterday for my toe nail to be removed and for the skin to be removed around both the front and back of the toe. This is my second toe. But it is the size of my big toe for now. And now it has formed an ulcer on the tip of it. Nurse said I probably couldn't have surgery. Doctor didn't say one way or the other. I am needing prayers that this will heal quickly and I can still have the surgery as scheduled. I go back on the 11th to see how things are coming along with it. Will keep you posted.
