New Support Group

A new support group is now being formed by request of several WLS friends and aquaintences here in the Bowling Green area. We have a great support group at the Health and Wellness Ctr the 3ed Thurs of each month but this new group is being set up with the guidance of the Centennial group, and will hopefully alternate opposite of the two weeks after this 3ed Thurs group and will be on a Saturday. You do not have to be a patient or connected to Centennial to attend this group, you only need to come and be with us. If anyone is interested in joining us please e-mail me as we are just setting the times and place and hope to have our first meeting in Dec. We are hoping to have a very active group with various forms of information as well as projects and speakers and want to make it a fun, keep on track and stay focused group. We will be having several trails and error groups I am sure but with everyones help and the availability of two groups to attend, hopefully we will be able to provide support and information. WLS is quickly becoming an answer for a lot of Obese people and there are great surgeries and ones that are far from the answer and we want to share experiences of both good and bad and stress the fact that research is the first and foremost course of action and the more information you can get the better your results can be for you. I hope to see and meet lots of new people here. We have yet to name our group and we may use this to be an ice breaker for all of us and choose the appropriate name together.
