Oh My Goodness!!!!!!!

You will never believe this. I called Anthem this morning to ck to see if they had my LOMN that was just faxed on Thursday. The lady said no but to try back in a couple of days. So in the mean time my mail had ran and I went to ck it. In it was a letter from Anthem stating that I was approved based on medical necessity. But it did state that it was not an approval for claims payment. Being the dummy I am I called Liv-Lite to see if they could help me understand it. They told me to fax them the letter. But before I did that I decided to call Anthem back and was put on hold for several minutes before the lady came back on and said it looks like you are approved. I still wasn't to positive because I'm not sure she really knew. So I was on my way out to fax the letter when my home phone rung and it was Liv-Lite. I HAD BEEN APPROVED.. Anthem had called them and left them a voicemail. I cried and cried and am still crying. I called my husband and I was hysterical - he thought someone was hurt or something. I can't believe this is true. I now go back Thursday 11/11 to meet with the surgeon and a few other appointments. I'm looking at a surgery date in December. What a great Christmas present for me! Christina! That is great news,you are on your way to being a big loser!!!!I had Anthem also and they were so...so....actually I thought that they had stopped doing the bypasses last year. I had mine done on 4/03. Read all the material the doctor gives you and get yourself ready,I actually think that if I would have gone to some support groups I would have better been prepared,so if you can get to one of those it will help you and your family,and ask questions from people who have walked in these steps you are about to take,we know what you will be feeling!!Godd luck and God Bless you!!Robin

WTG!!!! It thrills me every time I see someone else get approved! Just wi**** would be ME saying I'm approved! LOL What a tremendous Xmas gift this must be to yourself and your loved ones! Good luck with the surgery, and I hope your recovery is speedy! Linda
