Waiting to hear

Well, here goes! I guess I'm what you'all call a newbie. I am currently in my fourth l-o-n-g week of waiting to hear from the insurance. I have Bluegrass Family Health and I am going to St. Joseph East. This waiting is so intense I've been dreaming about it and I'm getting very little done at work for thinking the phone will ring any time. Is this normal? I've read and read until I think I'm on overload. I've researched, prayed and worried. But I truly believe this is the right decision for ME! Now I'm getting scared that I might not have enough diet history documented. Although, as everyone else, I have plenty of "diet history". I need someone to help me stay positive until I hear. What a feeling of failure if I fail at this too.

Kim, I am also a patient of the Center for Weight Loss Surgery. Dr. Neighbert did my surgery on 1-26-04. This was the best thing that I have ever done for my health. I was on 2 B/P pills for over 20 years and now I am not on ANY. I have lost 106 pounds and have the energy to do what I want. It still amazes me when I go to the mall or Wal-mart that I don't worry about where I am going to park. I used to dread the walk. Now I don't mind at all, and I actually like to walk. I also have BGFH. I had to wait a little over 5 weeks to get a decision from them. Just be patient, it will come. BGFH takes their own sweet time.
