RE: Dr. Bolar

Dr. Bolar was first in the region to do the laparoscopic Roux-en-Y gastric bypass and has done the most cases of any surgeon in the region. He not only performs the surgery but goes to other institutions to train other surgeons on how to do the laparoscopic RNY. The best advice on how to find a bariatric surgeon if you are unsure is ASK YOUR PRIMARY CARE DOCTOR, they usually know the reputations of the surgeons or they can find out for you. BIK

Dr Bolar is one of the best Dr that I have ever been to. He truely cares about his patients. He takes time for each patient no matter what the issue is. He did my surgery on Sep 29 and I can say that every time that I needed him, for queston, support, etc. he was right there to take care of me. I couldn't have received anything better than the care and compassion from Dr Bolar and his staff. I am so glad that I decided to go to Dr Randal Bolar. Dr. Bolar you guys in Lex and Georgetown really need to start accepting medicaid. I live in Harrodsburg and really wish i didn't have to go all the way to louisville to areas where I am not familiar with anyone at all. I like my doctor and I am sure he is reputable but I would feel more comfortable with doctors who's names i recognize from people who have had surgery. Thank you for your time.
