I had my surgery 4-6-07. I was losing about one-half pound every day and then at 4 weeks it stopped!!!! I have not lost another pound in a week. I gained 2 pounds last week and it won't come off. I have stayed on the program. What's up? Please, I could use some words of encouragement. Thanks, Deb

I have had those weeks, too. Where the scale doesn't move at all. It's frustrating, but if you keep doing what you're supposed to be doing, it will start moving again. Have faith, and keep up the good work! Linda Vicory

Give your body time to adjust. Take measurments. You are probably still losing inches even it the scales don't move. It happens to us all so don't get discouraged. Keep up the PEW. (protein/exercise/water) It will happen!

My husband's doctor told him that would happen at about four weeks post op. He said that you will still lose inches though the scale doesn't move. He said you will soon start to drop weight quickly so just hang in there!!!

Hi Deb, I don't know if you will like this solution, but at that early stage of the game I refused to weigh anywhere but at the doctors office. I wanted to be able to see visible losses, instead of little losses. I did eventually start to weigh more often in order to make sure I wasn't on the wrong track. Hope the "drought" ends soon for you. Lisa
