Almost there??????

I just wanted to share a lil' bit of exciting news!!! Its not much but I called the Insurance company yesterday and they told me that my review was in the last stage (its been about 17days since turining in paper work) and that all is looking favorable!!!! I am trying not to get to overjoyed, but I feel my new life is closer to beginning and that it is actually a possibilty this is REALLY going to happen! I just needed to share my excitement with others who know the same feeling...it seems that my family is all very supportive of my strive for a new life...but yet they dont seem as excited as I am the closer it gets maybe its just me Well take care all!!!! Good Luck! I hope you get the good word soon. Don't worry about your family right now. There is no way they can fully appreciate what this means to you. I'm sure they will be very excited (as well as apprehensive) once you are approved. This would be normal. My stepmother knew I really wanted to have this surgery to improve my health (I'd been diagnosed with Diabetes a year earlier), but she was very afraid that something bad would happen. The surgery seemed so extreme to her. Once I was through it though, she has been very supportive and happy for every lost pound and physical achievement I have experienced. Feel free to come on the board and do your happy dance as soon as you find out you are approved! Cindy
