Anyone ever usetextured vegetable protein??
I assume it comes in unflavored? Is it a thick liquid or what type of texture? The recipe I have is for peanut butter balls. Does this ingrediant sound weird for that use? Also, you said Old Mill section at Marsh...I am not familiar with that. Do all Marsh's have that section? I am not sure where to look.
Thanks for your help

I have used it too. I get mine in bulk from the Georgetown Market ($1.79/lb), but it is available at Kroger in the Health Foods section (about $2.29 or $2.99 for a 1lb bag). It is unflavored and is kind of like granola when dry - crunchy. However, you can add it to broth and it takes on the flavors of the broth and the texture of ground beef. You can also grind it up into a powder and mix it into other recipes - like cookies to add protein. I love it.

Cindy-
Not sure if you will get this before the clothing exchange but if so great and if not thats ok too- you could still reply or email!
Anyway, I am requesting that you could share some of the recipes that you have from the cooking classes that you have been attending. I haven't been able to make it to them yet and they sound like so much fun. I was especially interested in the class that you said was about appetizers and brunch- but if you had copies and would be able to share, any would be great and appreciated! I am asking for these for myself, but am sure many would be interested at the exchange as well!
Hope you can help! Thanks in advance. Don't rush for the exchange, as I know this is last minute. I would be thankful to just receive them via email- if possible! Hugz Dawn- see ya soon!
