Hi everybody!!
Happy Monday! I had all my pre-op testing today, so am really glad that is over with. I am all proud of myself too, because this Saturday I went out and did the DINO 5K run in Avon and met a couple of the guys from www.wlsIndy.com. I finished the dang thing, wasn't last place, didn't pass out and die, and I even got a medal for third place in my age group! Of course, there apparently were only three in my age group, but still....
I'm all excited about getting to the losing side, and then becoming some crazed big time runner now. I'll have to work my way up to it, since I walked the entire 5K this weekend, but that gives me stuff to look forward to.
Hope everyone is having a good day today.
Kim

Kim,
If you finished the DINO walk you are going to be SO far ahead of the game with the surgery. Your recovery will be faster and you will feel better faster.. I'm envious... I can just now walk a mile much less 3.1 miles... I'm with you about the running though I want to start running too I just don't know where to begin. (of course once I'm released to start running)
