Set Up my PS Consultation.....

Well.....I finally got a move on and set up my consultation for Plastic Surgery. For some reason this was harder to put my mind to than deciding on the WLS. LOL I am going to see Dr. Bergman on the 21st of May. And I will see what the pre determination is for medical necessity for my insurance coverage and then go from there. After hearing of Carmen's success I have decided that a woman Dr. would be best It feels kinda odd for me, being 6" tall and a large structured woman, my ending weight is more where alot of WLS patients start out! I am less than 14 pounds from my goal and if I get approved on my insurance that approval is good for 12 months, so, I figured this would be a good time to go for it. I am so envious. My NUT said that my weight loss is leveling off and I am close enough to goal that plastics will take care of the rest. I am still 10-15 pounds from goal. I have been thinking, "Just pick up the phone and make the call." But can't seem to make myself look up the number. What is wrong with me???? Annette

Marianne, That's so exciting. Carmen looks so great that we all want to jump in and get the rest of our bodies taken care of. I'm at one year tomorrow (in fact, Carmen and I had WLS the same day), and I so much want to get a consult, but I know my insurance won't cover it, so I'm stalling. Look forward to hearing how yours goes. We're going on vacation Saturday and maybe when I get back, I'll get the nerve to look into it, too. Good luck. Floyd

Thanks Floyd!! And happy Bday to you! I am sending you some courage to go check it all out. I was so nervous and they made me feel so much better and calmed me right down.
