St V's in Carmel pre-op tests and nut counseling
This waiting game is just killing me. I have been approved by my insurance. I am just waiting on Dr Gupta's office to add themselves as the surgeon and change my procedure to a RNY instead of the lapband. The insurance lady said that she would try and get it done yesterday and as soon as they got the letter from the insurance then the surgery scheduler would call me. How long does it usually take once they hear from my ins. co to get ahold of me to schedule the surgery? How far out are they normally? What about all this pre-op testing and the 6-8 hours of nut counseling. Can pre-op and the nut counseling be done on the same day or is a two day thing? I know it hasnt been that long, but I am just not a patient person. Yes, I know I have to be. I am trying real hard, but I have also quit smoking and that is giving me fits. I havent cheated though because I dont want it to effect my surgery. Any help with the scheduling of surgery and pre-op and nut counseling would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Jenny
