Hi guys...I'm home and in good spirits!

Well I made it home..was not released till about noon today mostly because I was still having so much gas pain yesterday that they wanted to make sure I did not have a leak...and I don't...I'm tired...but I"m generally feeling well. The ride home was LOOOONG.... thanks to Janene for calling and checking on me so much>..love ya gal :) and to Floyd and Brenda who came by for such an enjoyable visit...sorry I was sickly! :( and to Sam who also stopped by and we had a great little chat...I truly enjoyed meeting all of you...it was so nice to have misty and mindy on the floor with me there and to be able to say hi etc...even if i didn't feel iike visiting, it was a comfort to know they were there... overall i'd say the surgery (the day of and the day after) was MUCH worse that I expected, but I'd do it again in a heart beat! I did not have to have any drain tubes...which is GREAT...i'm healing well and when I weighed before I left the hospital I was actually down .06 lbs from when I went in on thursday morning...not sure how that happened...but i'll take it! :) ok, i'm off here to go lay down, i'm about to fall asleep just sitting here! hugs to you all jen :)

Jen,  Great to see you back on. glad you are doing well,  walk walk walk that will keep that gas worked out.  hope you have a speedy recovery. congrats, Carla

hi darrah...i really did want it, but since i didn't get out of the hospital till today my mom came to get me and we had no where to put it...i know i won't be back up till my post op, so offer it to the next person...i'm sure it will fly...thank you for the wonderful offer...and the welcome to the losers side :) jen

Well i guess I spoke too soon...I stayed in the hospital on Saturday night because of that darn gas pain in my upper left shoulder and in my left stomach and chest....had none on saturday night or all day today...right now i'm up walking the floors with it :( I didn't get as much walking in today so that's probably it because I was so tired I slept most of the morning and then had the long ride home and was exhausted when i got here so laid down again basically...i'm sure that's the culprit...although I would have thought the gas pain would be long gone by now from surgery...guess not! i am still blowing over 1500 on m spirometer so that indicates no leaks...guess i will just walk and ride this out til tomorrow then REMEMBER to walk walk walK....I HAVE THE SIP SIP SIPPING down to a "T" lol ok, off to walk around my house some more! hugs gals and guys jen
