Thanks to all who could make it out for the exchange!!! For those of you  that couldn't we missed ya and you were thought of! It was a small group this time around BUT there was plenty of socializing and some new faces and some future losers present to see what it was all about and where they were headed in their new journeys! It was great meeting you all! Anyone else interested in the walk for Diabetes! There were a few who said yes or maybe! ? Come Hoosier losers we can have a blast and it is for a great cause! Remember October 7th and let us know if you are wanting to join in! Thanks for everyone who was there to help setup and that stayed around to bag and help with the packing up. Th help was appreciated! Thanks so much Carla for my special goodies!!!! I loves meeting you and the M&M Dudes and the Boyd's are great and were an added bonus- you are a great angel!!!! Hi Dawn (and Everyone else), I'm so sorry I couldn't make the exchange.  I made the mistake of scheduling my son's 13th birthday party without checking my calendar!  On top of that I have been working my butt off to finish redoing my front bathroom in time for the party.  I wanted to stop by even if it was only to drop off some clothes, but I just couldn't fit it in. The kids and I are going to come up to the campout pitch-in on Saturday.  I have to work on Friday and so we wouldn't be able to come up for the campout (I'm not a camper anyway).  Unfortunately my husband has to work Saturday, so he won't be able to come with us, but we are really looking forward to it. See you soon.

Dawn,  Thanks for hosting the clothing exchange.  It was great and I cant believe all the clothes for how few ppl were there.  It was an amazing time.  Great food and good conversation.  I enjoyed seeing you again and u looked really terrific. Brenda thanks for the clothes and the great chili chichen salad...its still one of my favorite foods.  I really enjoyed those huge shrimp, the corn salsa (would like the recipe for that ...if whoever made it would post it) and the banana nut bread was great too.  Everyone that didnt get a chance to come missed some great food.  I did miss Tania's peanut butter cookies.  Where was she? I am still going thru withdrawl for giving away my coat.  I fell like a baby giving up its security blanket....lol.  Guess I'll get over it once I get me a new one.

I wanted to shop on my way home but the traffic was so bad on 40 that I just went home and slept.  Tonight Andy and I went to New Castle Walmart.  Tomorrow I think we are going to Menards in Anderson to get some drywall for the house.   Everyone have a great weekend.  Talk to u all soon

It was sure great seeing everyone!  I will really miss the exchanges, mostly for the social aspect, but I'll sure miss getting Sam's old clothes too!  I'm always one exchange behind her, and 90% of the clothes I leave with are hers it seems lol.  Several people asked, and yes, I'll be staying on the Indiana board.   I checked out both the MO and KS boards (as ill be living near the state line), and both were GHOST TOWNS.    So I'll be staying here with my friends.  My mother in law still lives here, so maybe we can time a trip with an exchange next year.  I know in April sometime we'll be in town, as his uncle is getting married, and we're expected to make an appearance. SAM is also the cullinary mastermind behind the corn salsa- of which I also need the recipe for :D  I also missed Tania's peanut butter cookies... another recipe i don't have.  I'm really looking forward to making that chili chicken salad though- YUM-O!

Dawn, glad you liked the stuff, IT was so nite to meet you, You look amazing,  i had a great time and was so glad to meet every  one, wi**** could have lasted longer so i could have gotten a chance to talk to more people, Im with every one else in that Brendas chili chicken salad was awesome, and the banana nut bread was the cats meow for those of us with a little sweet tooth, it was just what the Dr. ordered to satisfy my sweet tooth and keep me out of trouble.  I cant do salsa so i didnt try it but hear it was great too. I hope i can make it to the next exchange, im putting it in my hopes for the future.  I would love to go on the Diabetes walk but i have to wait till closer to make sure i have some one to watch the kids.  I took a few pictures and will post them as soon as i get them resized.  Have a great Sunday, Carla
