Jen update

We got home about an hour ago from seeing Jen. She is looking good. She is still having the gas pains and was a bit nauseous but I'm sure that will settle down. She hasn't been doing much walking because of the pain and icky tummy but I think once she does it will help. She was too full to eat lunch so she was going to try some dinner when we left. An ounce of grape juice and about 2 ounces of red Jell-O. Can you all remember those days??? We sat and talked with her and her husband for about an hour and it was very enjoyable. She is not being allowed a shower until tomorrow so she may not get out as she had hoped. It's such a long drive home for her it might be better if she has an extra day or two of healing before she does it. She is so anxious to meet everyone that she really wants to get out and come to the clothing exchange. I warned her that there are steps at the place where it's being held so hopefully if she stops she can send her husband in and we can all go out to see her. We told her everyone was thinking of her and wishing her well. We gave her a hug for you Janene.
Have a great evening and see lots of you tomorrow.
Brenda
Thanks Brenda and Floyd for giving out my hug!!! I spoke with Jen on the phone about 2:00 and she said she wasn't even interested in eating lunch and had walked a total of about 1/4 of a mile since she was there. Also the gas was a major pain...was good to hear her and speak with her hubby. I also thought tomorrow might be a bit early for her to go home..but she is a smart woman and will only go if she feels better. Y'all are so wonderful going to visit those on the bariatric floor. I know Jen and Misty were both happy to meet you, floyd, and samantha.

Lord, keep me in your will so I won't be in your way.
