I can't make the Clothing Exchange.....

Greetings All! I have been so excited about making the clothing exchange tomorrow and kept thinking I would be up to it. Well.......this plastic surgery is alot harder to recoup from than the RNY. So many more incisions to deal with with all that  had done. To heal properly and get the most from this surgery , rest is mandatory :o). I had to get my daughter from work today and it was all that I could do to drive the short distance and then home again. I am still kinda woosey from resting so much and still on some pain medications. So...I finally had to break down and realize I am just not up to the drive and know that my place is home recovering for the next few weeks just as my Dr. says. I am doing great and feeling good all in all but I am just not up to running around yet. I was so looking forward to seeing you all! I have more than enough clothes in my closet so that is not as much a downer (Pam, I was looking forward to your slacks but I know there will be someone else thrilled to get them). I just wanted to see you all so much! I hope the next exchange is not going to be the week we are in Vegas in October. Marianne, You will be missed, but I/we understand! I can truly understand as I am still having some issues myself. I just this week was told from one of the surgeons that my weight lifting limit is to be 5 lbs if he had his choice and to definately not exceed 10 lbs.I know that I need to follow his directions, but it has been 3 months thus far and I am ready to move on.
