Hi everyone

HI all,  I used to post once in a great while on here since you gals and guys are so much more active than Illinois. lol. I have since moved back over to the great state of Indiana. And well I guess my question is, can anyone tell me which Dr to go see about getting Gastric Bypass. Our New insurance kicks in around the 20th of this month so im anxious to get things started YET again. I believe the new insurance is Blue Cross Blue Shield. Thanks in advanced for all the advice.                        Melissa

Hello!  I'm partial to St. Vincent's in Carmel.  I had Dr Evanson and he is great but So are all the other Bari surgeons at St. V.  You can call St. V and get set up for an initial consult there.  It is informational and there is no obligation or cost unless you meet with the surgeon individually after the group session.  I was going to see Dr Inman because a couple of friends of mine had used her and liked her but I went down for my initial consult and Dr Evanson was doing it the day I went.  I liked him from the start and feel I was lucky to go on a day he was there.  St V is a bariatric center of excellence and they are set up for the bari patients.  The staff there is wonderful and they make sure you have all the nutritional information you need and support before and continues for life after surgery.  Good luck and welcome back to the Hoosier state!
