Good Morning its Tuesday!

right now its 4:30 AM. i am up pretty early but actually I am just getting to bed. I work 3rd shift. Still waiting on an approval from the insurance company. So now it has been 7 working days since they sent it off. How long should I wait to start bugging them or should I even try?  My husband is starting to get nervous about the surgery. its pretty funny because I am not I am so very excited.  Robin

Robin...It varies with insurance companies. Some get an answer back to you with in a day or two..others, 2-4 weeks. I think most have a policy that it has to be within a set time. Probably 60-90 days. If you don't hear anything after 2 weeks, I'd give them a call. Your hubby is being normal. I think Bill is more nervous about my plastics than I am. I'm just looking forward to it and ready to 'do it'! lol. He on the other hand keeps coming up with 1001 questions (that I keep passing on to Marianne..lol!). I have the attitude of 'what difference does it make? I'm having the surgery regardless of the answer anyway and I'll do what I am told to do. Period.".  Dawn...If you see this, call me! Robin - I don't know how long you should wait, but I guess if I knew they sent mine in, I'd call by now, just "to make sure they got it".  My poor hubby is still working on the drain pipes. They are giving him fits. He capped off again what he was working on last night, so we could shower this morning and use the toilet. Thank goodness. We are going to have to go to the laundromat tonight though. Ugh. I hate the laundromat. It costs so much.  I lost two pounds yesterday. Don't know how I did it... the support group meeting must have been my thinspiration  !!! I love going to the meetings. It's hard for me to sit still that long, but I do enjoy them. They help keep me motivated. Anyway, feeling good to be losing a bit more, because I was steady for about 2.5 weeks. I wonder where I'll even out at. I do want to reach 150, but I wouldn't mind losing a few more than that, if I can. I would have to be 145 to be officially a "normal" BMI. 

Happy Tuesday Everyone, This is a WLS week for us.  Yesterday I made our reservations to go on the 2nd Annual WLS Cruise in January 2008.  We're taking a Carnival cruise to the Bahamas.  We are so excited.  It will seem like such a long time to wait, but should be fun. Tonight we are going to St. V's to visit Misty and Amanda after their surgery.  I've been chatting with Misty quite abit lately.  Tomorrow night we have support group meeting.  Dinner on Thursday (see my other post), and the clothing exchange on Saturday.  After the clothing exchange, we may either go bowling or come back to our house for cards and games with Scott.  Anyone else interested in doing something? Floyd where is the cruise going in January? I'm wanting to go on a cruise this spring and that would be a blast as I'm sure they will have WLS friendly foods on the menu...

To those having surgery you are in my thoughts and prayers have been said, God be with you and guide your surgeons hands...

I can't wait to see everyone on Sat and get some new clothes. For those of you that don't know I started a new job yesterday that I absolutely LOVE... it's the job that I wanted and I'm thankful that this is where God saw fit to put me... The dress code is casual but i have 2 pairs of jeans that fit and no dress shirts to wear with them... so i need some clothes... can't wait to see everyone...

Floyd I would love to get together but my sisters bachelorette party is that night... sorry

Jessyca, The cruise leaves Jacksonville, FL on January 31, 2008.  Spend one day in Freeport, and one day in Nassau, one day at sea and return on February 4, 2008.  Can't get any cheaper either.  $300 for an inside room.  Can't even find a hotel that cheap.  If you want more information, send me your email and I'll send you the OH posts where I found about it. Floyd,   Can u send me the info on the cruise.  I would love it if Andy and I could both get off for it.  Ive been on one before and I loved it.  We spent a week at Coco Beach and then on the day of the Cruise we got to see a shuttle take off.  We left from theCape and went to Nassau and it was so beautiful (the water and fish that is).  We even went snokeling while we were there.  I tood my mom and she even had a great time.  There were 3 girls and my mom in one cabin.  I think it was on Carnival. we got 2 tickets back then for 300 becouse it was buy one and get one free.  Thats why I took my mom.  Im getting excited.   Andys never been on a cruise.  Working for the airlines he has always flown everywhere. Hi Pamela, Just wanted to send a quick hello and see how you were doing!!! I have missed so much!!!! How is your new home coming??? All done remodeling??? The last time I was able to take a quick peek you were down with poison ivy!!!! Hope you are all well now and are continuing to enjoy your journey!!!! Can't wait to see ya Saturday!!!! We are hoping to travel to Ohio in the next few weeks to visit The Beach Waterpark, we just LOVE that place!!! The Zoo there was also great, maybe we could visit there again as well!!! Dawn and Floyd and other interested OH'ers My poison ivy is all cleared up.  I still have a few scars on my chest but I think they will heal in time.  Im doing great on my eating.  I had salad and potato at Ruby Tuesdays today then at work tonight I had corn on the cob and zuchnni(sp).   Today and I were in Anderson at the Lowes there.  I feel like we live at Lowes and Menards anymore.  Last week Andy redid my bathroom and put new flooring in it for me and fix my leaky toilet.  He also refinished and old school teachers desk we had.   This past weekend I stripped wall paper off of one of the bedrooms and this week he got it painted.  While at Lowes today we bought a new area rug for that room and its coming together as our office. 

Yesterday he did install me a new garage door opener.  Im loving having remotes.  We had one in the house that worked when we bought it they just didnt leave us remotes....mean ppl.  So we spent a few bucks on a new one with 2 remotes.  The original one was so old that universal remotes didnt work with it and the brand was no longer made. Tonight IM at work and Andy is home hanging dry wall in our soon to be family room.  We probably wont be doing much the next week to the house becouse this weekend Im going to OH and Im coming to the clothing exchange and Andy is heading to Maine to visit with his parents.  I did buy 4 cases of water today when we were out shopping so everyone come thirsty sat.   Dawn,  I did get the job but a week before I was to start the called and wanted me to take a $6.00 an hr pay cut than what I had on my resume.  I said no way to that so here at sit at my old job.  Which is a great job.  Im just ready for a change...new job to go with my new body!!! Where are u going to eat Thurs Floyd?  I have really been wanting to go some Thur even to the Post RD Outback. I havent heard from Gail lately or Mendi.  Mendi should be moving soon.  I look forward to seeing everyone Sat.
