Goooood Morning Hoosiers!!!

I hope you all woke up on the perky side of the bed this morning! Can you tell that I did?

I'm at work today..but not gonna 'over-extend' myself. I have my mammagram this afternoon at 1:20 so I'll be making a short day of it. I couldn't get my annual check-up with Dr. Gupta changed but they are going to send me a script for my bloodwork to get it done early. So that's good. I think I have about everything done! Hope everyone has a really terrific day!!!! Sherri

Linda, Thanks!  I'm of the age that I have one annually. Here is my advise to post-op females: Be SURE to tell the tech when you've lost over 100 lbs between mammagrams! I didn't think to and they had to rerun everything. I had lost so much breast tissue with the weight loss that they thought something was wrong. They may have even if I had told them but at least they would have known they had the right person...lol. So...today's shouldn't be so bad since there hasn't been much change tissue-wise since last year's.  Hi Buddies, Perky- huh???I'm learning"no pain-no gain" the hard way Sherri~hee~hee!!! I am just about done mulching-yeah!!!!!Over the 4 days we've put 83 bags down- just 17 to go!Oh my Gravy- my body hurts (just alittle Rachel Ray speak- love her!!) from pulling all those weeds- I never want to let it get that bad again!!! I moved 20 plants into my shade garden by my pond- it looks so good! I love to sit out there and listen to the water,& enjoy the peaceful serenity Quintin ( grandson) has been a great help- he hauls the mulch to me, & makes alittle spending $$ too. He doesn't like to pull weeds- it hurts his leg still to bend down, since it's still healing. Oh, I'm so proud of him- he won best pitcher in the All-Stars- threw 3 shut out games!!!!! Amy & Tony recieved 4 big bags of baby clothes for the twins Sat. LOTS of girl stuff, so they are starting to get ready for them. She has her fetal ultrasound/scan Fri. @ 2:30. She has been having alot of pain,contractions on her right side- where the baby boy is, so they are checking to make sure everythings ok. It could be her cervical cancer- the Dr. won't examine her vaginally because of it- and they will schedule her C-section next month. All they need now are a few little boy things & 2 Infant car seats. Hopefully a crib is coming.Thanks everyone for your prayers- we do need & appreciate them!! I have my mamogram on Friday- yep, make sure they know cause they re-did mine twice last yr. i hate to have it done, but with fibroid cysts, I have to. Oh Oh, Quintin is hollering"Come on Grammy, lets get started"- so gotta go! (((hugs))) Ellen

DONT KNOW ABOUT PERKY BUT I AM UP AND MOVING. LOL OHH THAT REMINDS ME I HAVE TO GET MY MAAMO SET UP. UGH I DONT LIKE THEM AT ALL. THEY TELL US GROWING UP DONT PINCH , PULL OR BRUSE THEM AND THE FIRST THING THEY DO AT 40  IS PINCH PULL AND SMASH.. GO FIGURE.  SEE YOU SATURDAY VICKI

Well my "work" day is almost to an end (only 45 min left)...I'm on the count down to surgery, so I'm a happy happy camper! :) Only two work days left for me then surgery!!!!!!!!!!! YAY...also I have a new job prospect that would begin after my recovery and would be right in my home town...like a 2 min drive from my house, so here's hoping!!! :) Hope you're all having a WONDERFUL day....it was sunny and muggy when i went out at lunch to mail a letter!!!!!!!! hugs, jen

Oh how exciting to be so close to surgery. The last days at work just dragged for me, when I was waiting! Well day,.. I had surgery on a Tuesday, so I just had to be at work Monday.
