I'm home!!!
I had my surgery on thursday and i did ok till the shots i had a reaction that they thinned my blood to much.So i had to stay an extra day, but it was worth it cause the took my drain tube out. Those nurses "ROCK"..I hope it gets easier...I seen some people from the pre-op class. I just feel BLAH, how long does it take to get over that feeling.....
hi again...soooo happy for you....it's great you are done with the surgery and things went pretty good...thinking of you and praying for you for a quick recovery....i'm less than 2 weeks away....will be joining you on the losing side VERY SOON...hugs, jen

I'm a size 10, and I feel AWESOME!
Ah..you are so newly post-op. Congrats. You will find that you will feel better & better each day. At about week 2, I had tons of energy, but at week 4, I was wiped out. I think I tried to do too much with that burst of energy. So...pace yourself and gradually increase your activity. Remember that you just had a major surgery. It takes time to recoup. And it's different for everyone. Some..who have desk jobs...returned to work after a week or two. Others who have more 'active' jobs may need 4-6 weeks off. Just don't ru****! Take the time you need and allow yourself time to heal..and to adapt to your new eating/drinking schedule.
Let us know if there's anything we can do or questions we can answer!
Best wishes,

Hello.. so glad to hear you are doing well!
I am 3 wks Post Op and know what you mean about not wanting to eat or drink... If I didn't have to, I wouldn't. Food does not taste good to me anymore... and I have no energy. My doctor said this is perfectly normal and will change in the coming months... I just have to wait it out.
My doctor said if I can get in one bottle of Isopure per day, that was good for now.. the rest will come in time.
What does your doctor have you on?
I am glad to hear that you are doing well also. I bought alot of isopure but did not like it. I am having a hard time just fitting in everything. I complete 1 thing one day and add something new the next...I bought this liquid whey protein it has 42 grams 3.2 oz and i mix it with juice not bad and i try to drink a protein shake. Good Luck...
