I was wondering about having 2 different insurance companies. They both have WLS on their policies.

I was curious on my total out of pocket expense. I have heard I will not have any because each one will take care of the others deductable.  I have also heard I will be responsible for my secoundaries insurance deductables and out of pocket expenses.  Can you tell me any of your experiences.  Thanks  Robin

I'm preop and have only had 1 insurance for a few months ago  but last year i had 2 and it helped tremendously our out of pocket was 0 the whole time pretty much. I went through allergy testing and everything and didn't have to pay anything. My secondary insurance picked up my copay and all the stuff my first didn't

Robin,  I had two insurances, but one specifically excluded wls. However for other procedures, office visits, etc.,... our secondary insurance generally pays the copay/deductible of the primary insurance. Linda Vicory
