Good morning everyone! I'm in a better mood today. I want to apologize to everyone for my rant yesterday. After sleeping on it, I have a different perspective on it today. How's this: Amount ordered by judge to pay:  $4,604

*Acrued interest ordered @$50/month payments:    $3069 Placed into Savings Account at CU at ~3% interest over time (slide 1 to 5%): $230 Total amount recieved:  $7,903    Amount owed without interest today? $4050 Doubling your investment:  Priceless Oh..and having it hanging over her head for 12.8 years...      No..I don't believe that you EVER screw anyone and get away with it.     So...How's your morning? Sounds like you're in a better mood today...I'm happy you're finding some peace with things...I don't know the whole story, but sounds like you're going to come out ok in the end...good for you! :) My thursday has begun...here at work, not much to do yet, i'm sure that will change quickly...just counting the days now, only 2 wks from today is my surgery :D YIPPIE YAY! nothing like the excitement of changing your life. :D here's to a good day! hugs, Jen

Thanks Jen. Short version: Cindy (my sister) borrowed ~$5,500 from me 9/04, then 6 months later, borrowed ~$4,000 more. She was suppose to repay me at $500/month plus interest until paid. She made FOUR payments. When she got her divorce last year, she stuck her ex with half of it. Poor guy didn't even know she had borow money from me much less it being close to $10K that she borrowed! She had it put in the divorce that each of them has to repay half as well as $20/month interest apiece. He has paid it faithfully. In fact, he has paid $100 a month most months.She on the other hand had sent me a check for $68 and one for $2,000..that one, she stopped the payment on me. Guess who had to get a loan to cover it then? I also got stuck with the stop-payment fee. She then threatened to file bankruptsy to get out of paying it.

Of the $9,500 I paid for most of her van payments for over a year, her daughter's band instrument, her heating gas for 2 winters, dental bills, her RNY surgeon, money she borrowed from our Mom, Grandmother, and another sister, phone bill, electric bill,cable, cell phone, our mother's Christmas present (!!). Is she a minimum waged, awe...let's feel sorry for her pitiful soul? No. She is a Registered Nurse! She has worked at Union and Regional Haspitals in Terre Haute and is presently working for an off-shoot of Union..they line patients up for drug clinical trials. As a company, would I want someone as irresponsible as her handling my FDA records? NO WAY! She graduated and got her RN liscence back in 1991-2...+/-1-2 years. Guess what? She STILL owes for her student loans from back then! Every time they become due, she has them put into deferment. Real loser huh?? And NOT in a good way. Sherri ps....Somehow, she aparently has convinced my mother, brother, and sister that I'm trying to rip HER off. Like I care. When my son was diagnosed with cancer back in January, NONE of them ever bothered to even tell him that they hope he'd be ok.

WOW, that's crazy! I'm glad you got your judgement...and I agree, rant all you want...that's what friends are for :) hugs!!! jen

Good morning Sherri, glad to hear you are better today, but just remember you can rant anytime you want or need to hear and we are listening.

Hi everyone,

 I woke up yesturday with a terrific headache & dry heaves, felt better as the day went on, then this am. (NO, I'm post-menopausal -lost that capibility in '1977) maybe feeling sorry for daughter?) I got up and the area where Dr. had done the procedure last Thurs. had opened up again & I had blood/etc. all over my panties & nightgown. UGH, so I am still waiting to get in for OP. surgery to get those darn stitches & knots out, and boy, does it hurt. I'm on antibiotics. I saw my PCP today & he ordered the yrly usual- mammogram and a bone density test, plus blood tests. He is so pleased with my weight loos and health improvements- it makes me feel good to go in and hear praise!!! My BP and heart were fine!!! Sherri, you feel free to rant all you want ,and glad you are feeling better today. Only 3 weeks to our  OH camp-outing-WOO~HOO!!  Gotta go and get something to eat- just haven't flet like it, so better try to get something in.  Have a great day everyone!! (((hugs))) Ellen
