Update

Just got back from court. The judge is upholding CINDY's divorce papers that stated $50/month plus interest AND she was ordered to pay the interest on the loan I had to get for her stopped payment check. She's to send money orders directly to me starting August 5th. She doesn't even have to catch up the amount she's in the arrears as per the divorce papers!!! Here's the kicker...I NEVER agreed to $50 a month! That was what she and her lawer had put into her divorce agreement. The agreement she had with ME was $500 a month!! She whined and told the judge that she couldn't afford any more than that. This girl makes well over $50K a year! Wouldn't YOU like to be THAT broke??? And..until she breaks HIS order, he wouldn't order it to be garnished from her wages! So...guess who is going to wind up back in court!?!?! We knew she would try to pull something. She did. She said that the loan was for only $5,000. Shoot, that was the first round only! Then she said that I sent tons of emails cussing her out and calling her every name in the book. NOT! I did tell her I was taking her to court, but not a single cuss word in it. So if she has emails cussing her out, she set up an email account in my name and did it herself. Also, she said that she had sent 5 checks and I never cashed them. She never sent a dime. ANYONE can date a check and sit on it! So now I have to wait for her to miss a payment and refile! Get this, she was laughing as she got in her BRAND NEW VAN! So people...especially those in the Terre Haute area, beware for CYNTHIA THOMAS. She's an RN...who is an irresponsable USER. I have tried carefully not to put her name on here since I know she's post-op and I know many of her old co-workers are post-ops as well. But no more! So Debbie and any of Cindy's other friends...if you are a lurker here, you have a 'friend' that you should be very careful even loaning a dime to! OK..that's my rant. Time for me to get off of here and calm down! Thank you all for being my true family! Sherri

Sherri ~ Its OK to be mad and OK to be mad a family! Sometimes family members are the WORSE when it comes time to loan or repay! I reckon they figure...we are family...they can afford it...I don't hve to pay back!  WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Good luck to ya in the court system and I will definately be praying GOD does something about those lawyers and family members that act like Spongebob! SLURRRRRRRRRRRRRRP

Sherri, So sorry the judge favored your sister.  Hang in there, justice will be served one day, just may not be in the time you want it.   Rant and rave at us all you want if it helps. Julie

Thanks Julie & Janene! The judge DID order the amount I thought he would/should. It's just that at $50 a month IF she paid it EVERY month (don't hold your breath at that happening!), with an additonal $20 a month added for the interest, that is 12.5 YEARS that I have to wait to be paid in full!  With her clearing ~$50,000 a year??? THAT is what I think is rediculous. Also, I very much wanted the $$ to be ordered to go through the court. I know she's not going to pay it and claim she did. Then I'm going to have to wait for a tracer to be put on the money orders. What a pain in the butt! But then again, once they see that it never came to me, I WOULD like to see her butt spend some time in jail at this point! BTW...anyone know anyone VERY good with IT? She claims that 'I' emailed her and cussed her out. I'd like to find someone that with her email addy's, could trace her IP address and then with it, see if there was an email addy set up in my name at that addy. Either she or my younger sister Bekki (or her hubby..an IT guy) had done it. I would love for her to hear the courts feeling about  purgery & identity theft! If you do, contact me. Sherri,  Darn it, darn it, darn it!!! I hate this happened to you and sure understand how you feel. I gotta say, what a b*%$h !!!! Copy any correspondence/ money orders, etc. you get from her for proof of payment- and every month she's in arrears make sure you note it. Truth always wins out- even when it takes awhile. Huh, an new van, and $50,000 a yr? Gosh, to be so poor! Geez, what was that judge thinking- NOT CLEARLY, that's for sure!!!!! I can't believe she'd slander you like that in court- remember what goes around comes around! I have never NEVER heard you swear- come on get real!!! She had to have set something up in your name to pull this off- where is your rights?!( My youngest sister pulled all kinds of stuff like this and is now in prison for her antics- yep, she got caught and burned the wrong person once too often.
