New here and excited

Hi everyone, I'm new to posting although I do read the different post.  I just recently got approved. I was quite shocked, it only took 3 days, I had already prepared myself for a long wait, but I wont complain, lol.  I will be having my sugery the last week august.  They said I could schdule as as early as the first or second week but my husband will be gone during that time so I had to wait.  I go to my pre op on Aug 9th. Well I just thought I would say I to everyone, and any tips or advise would be great too lol

Welcome, and congratulations! My advice would be to attend support groups, and be active on here. The support is something we all need along the journey. I always feel more motivated when I've been with other losers, too! Linda Vicory

YOU HAVE THE SAME DR I HAD. HE IS WONDERFUL. HE IS VERY UPFRONT AND TO THE POINT BUT AS LONG AS YOU DO WHAT HE SAYS YOU WILL DO GREAT,.GOOD LUCK AND KEEP US POSTED. VICKI

Congrats on getting a date so quickly.  This is a great group to have for support.  I read the posts and it really helps, do post some.   Looking forward to "hearing" how things are going for you.
