How Long before swimming

 I will be 5 wks out on Monday and I don't go back to the dr until Aug. 2nd. By then I will be almost 8wks out. How long should I wait until I swim??? ***WOW*** moment, my first.... Yesterday evening my and my hubby bought us new bikes..my first new bike in over 5yrs. Anyway we went for a bike ride and I rode for almost an hr, in the lead, no pain, no stopping to catch my breath .. I DID IT!!!

Normally you will need to wait until your incisions are healed so bacteria doesn't find its way in.  Clorine can also irritate your skin and make scarring worse.  Call the Dr's office and ask the nurse.
