How long does it take to get your nut classes scheduled, panicking

I called St V's on Wednesday right after getting my date and left messages to get my Nut classes scheduled. My surgery is scheduled for August 1 (less than 3 weeks away now) and I can't seem to get in touch with anyone. What do I DO???? Noone has called back and it's too late to call them now I got preoccupied with stuff and didn't get a chance to call today. My pre-op testing is on a thursday and they only do the nut classes Tuesdays and Thursday so that only leaves 4 days available for me to have my classes and one of those is the day before surgery which wouldn't really be ideal. I'm beginning to panic :( I need atleast 24 hours before a class too so my hubby can give his job notice.

Misty,  I have found that most of the time when i call St. V. i get a recording and have to leave a message if it says are you calling for an apt. i listen to all the options and get the oporator and ask her.. that way i am sure a person actually has my request for an apt. and I told them when my pre ops were and they scheduled me accordingly.  they are great to work with your other apts.  try again monday and see if you can get ahold of a human.  Good Luck, Carla

i had to leave two messages...but they did get back to me, and they scheduled me right away...I wouldn't get too worried about it, I'd say you'll probably be able to get into next thursday's class if you call again on  monday...

I'd call first thing Monday and talk to the operator! I know they usually schedule it for the same day as testing-good luck, it won't be long now!! (((hugs))) Ellen

Misty, Let us know how the preop and nut classes go.  I'm having RNY with Dr. Cacucci on Aug 22nd, so I have a little more time than you.  My pre-op is July 27th, but I haven't called to get the nut class scheduled.  Sounds like I better not wait too long... Isn't this a great time?  I am SOOOO looking forward to my new birthday!  I wi**** were sooner, and it could have been, but we had a long-planned family vacation scheduled for Aug 8th-15th. What number do I call?? because I've tried calling the surgeons office and i spoke with someone who just transferred me to the voicemail thing again. I cannot seem to get a human being and I'm getting beyond frustrated!!! just barely 2 weeks til my surgery!! UGH
