Event Information
Spend a crisp fall morning making a difference in the lives of thousands of individuals with diabetes. Join the American Diabetes Association for the 16th Annual Step Out to Fight Diabetes Walk (formerly America's Walk for Diabetes) on Sunday, October 7, beginning at the Indiana Historical Society.
While strolling around the 3-mile Canal Walkway, see popular attractions like the USS Indianapolis Memorial, the Eiteljorg Museum of American Indians and Western Art, White River State Park, and the Congressional Medal of Honor Wall. Enjoy snacks, entertainment, information and lots of prizes!
Form a team of 5 or more walkers or register as an individual walker. It's a great way to get together with family, friends and co-workers, or make new friends. The pledges you raise will be used to help fund education for thousands of newly-diagnosed patients and their families and programming such as Camp John Warvel, the ADA's summer camp for children with diabetes. The funds will also help the ADA advocate for individuals with diabetes and continue important research toward finding a cure.
