We are having a party for family and friends: This will be the third year for our little bash.  We have sloppy joe's, hotdogs, chips, baked beans, relish tray and brownies( not real WLS friendly but easy to fix for a crowd) Plus what ever anyone else wants to carry in.  We have a live band (well it is just two guys) called Two Country.  They play country music (of course) and they are pretty good. Last year about 75 people came.  When: Saturday August 18  from 6- 10 PM Where: the McAlhany Farm  2239 US hwy 6,Waterloo,IN please let me know if you'd like to come.  We have a good time just talking, listening to the music and dancing.  This year to save us a little work we are asking everyone to BYOC.  (bring your own chairs)  We have about 25 chairs and 4 tables but that isn't enough to go around.  If you like to fish you can also bring your rod and fish in our pond.  Hope you can make it!

Jan, We don't have anything on our calendar for that weekend. Unless there was something Bill has been planning and hadn't told me about yet (VERY possible), then we're free.  I'll have to let you know when the date gets closer. If we do come, you KNOW I'll have to bring something pouch-friendly. Sherri

for those of you that camp there is a KOA campground just south of Auburn on I69. It sits right next to the WW II victory museum and across the road from the Kurse Auction park.  In Auburn you can also visit the Auburn Cord Dusenburg Museum.  Fabulous old cars there for you old car buffs.  Behind the ACD museum is NATMUS (national auto and truck museum) these are more contemporary vehicles like muscle cars.  So if you are traveling from the south and wnat to make oa weekend of it there are other things to do up here.
