Hi!!!

Hey everyone!!!!  I sure miss you all!  I have been staying busy and don’t get a chance to get on here too much.  I feel so behind on all the daily talk and gossip!!!  Anyone want to catch me up??  I am doing great and loving Texas !!!  The heat is so awesome!  I have to wear a sweater in the house since everyone else likes the Ac but I just love to be outside and feel the heat of the day on my skin.  The rain is really starting to make me mad, it just keeps raining!!  We have not been affected by the flooding, but so many people have.  If it’s not wildfires, it flooding!!

 

I have been doing all the local attractions with the kids, and so enjoyed being able to fit in every single ride!!!  I had not been on a rollercoaster in so long it made me feel so overwhelmingly blessed!!  The day that I was at six flags I saw a lady trying to ride the superman ride and she just couldn’t fit!  She sunk away in shame and all I wanted to do was run over and hug her.  I know she would have felt even worse or thought I was crazy, but I just wanted her to know that she was not the only one!  I had been there done that!  I of course didn’t interfere, but just kept thinking about her and wishing I could have made her feel better somehow!

 

I am doing good health wise and eating wise.  I am hungry a lot of the time and can sure tell that my appetite is back!!  I just try to make healthy choices and still spend 60 -90 minuets a day exercising.  I have found that keeping m protein way up really makes me feel better.  I am all healed up from the plastics and starting to think about having just a bit more!!!  I am totally grossed out by the crazy skin hanging around my upper legs, but I also worry about healing after a leg lift!  I think I may see a few surgeons and get some opinions just so I may stay informed!

Hi Kylie- I hope you are having a great summer and doing all kinds of fun stuff with your little man Austin!!!  Will he be going to school full days in the fall?  I bet you will really miss him!!! Blessings, Carmen 

They are only taking 80 students for the full day kindergarden and I did sign him up for it but we have not heard any thing yet.  Yes I will miss him but my mom who watches him while I am sleeping during the day is probably going to go crazy because that is how she has kept herself going for the past 3 years since my dad passed away.  We have had a fun summer camping and we have spent some time in our pool and this past weekend we went to Holiday World. Carmen,  It's great to hear from you. I miss seeing your posts. I'm glad everything in your world is good. I'm still recovering from my surgery on May 21st. I get to go back to work on wed. (maybe) I have to see my surgeon tomorrow. I think my insicion is infected. Otherwise I'm doing ok.   Keep in touch God Bless Cheryl

Hi Cheryl~ I am sorry to hear about your incision problems.  I wish we didn't have so many chances for infection.  I will say a prayer that they start to heal quickly and you can be on the long road to super health soon!!!  Wow has it really been that long since your surgery?  You should be healed up by now.  Did you have an open or a lap?  I hope the pounds are falling off of you!! Carmen I had an open so my incision is almost 12inches long. I guess I should be glad the area affected is only about 4inches altogether (4 sm openings). The good news is I've lost over 36lbs!!! Cheryl

WOW HAVE WE MISSED YOUR SMILING FACE. BUT GLAD YOU ARE DOING SO WELL. YOU KNOW WE HAVE A CLOTHING EXCHANGE AUGUST 4TH .. LOL HOP IN THE CAR AND COME SEE US. BOY WOULDNT THAT BE A GOOD ONE. I KNOW I KNOW EASIER SAID THEN DONE WITH KIDS. BUT IN ALL SERIOUSNESS WE HAVE MISSED YOU. AS FOR ME I AM DOING GOOD. FOOD ISSUES ARE GETTING BETTER EVERYDAY AND IN JUST 10 SHORT WEEKS I HAVE LOST 86 POUNDS. Well thanks for that!  I miss all your beautiful smiles too!!  I also miss all the virtual hugs I get from you guys!  Holly molly 86 pounds in 10 weeks!!!  You go girl!!  That is soooo awesome!  I can’t even imagine how great you must be feeling right now.  I am so proud of you. 

 

 

Not much chance that I will be at the clothing exchange this time!  Sorry, but thanks for the invite.  You all have fun and get some cool new clothes!!  I bet with Pamela and Sam going you can look around and find a few of my old pink clothes in the piles!!!  Find a pick blouse and think of me!

Hey There Beautiful Carmen! Good to see you on here! I am a week from tomorrow for my plastic surgery and really getting excited! I thik I am all ready...I have a few more things I want to stock up on so Jon doesn't have that much shopping to do until I am up to it again :o) I am nervous about the drain but know it is absolutely necessary and provides such a benefit. how long did you have yours in? And did you only have one? sometime in the next year...I would like to have my upper arms done...but the thighs I am not so sure of....they say it is the worst to recover from and I am not into that! lol I am so happy that you are enjoying being a Texan!
