I was wondering...

well I know the clothing exchange is on August 4th...and I know I won't be able to be there because I am having my surgery on the 2nd...but was wondering if I could get a few things put back for me and maybe someone close to the hospital (St Vincent's) could bring them by if I'm still there on Saturday (and I probably will be)...I am currently wearing size 26 pants and 26/28 shirts...I'm thinking I would be wearing 22's within 6 wks...what do you think???  I traditionally have lost weight quickly and sizes quickly...I might even be wearing smaller than that...I have practically nothing in sizes smaller than a 24...a few odds and ends, but not much...I would be looking for shorts, tshirts and some dressier clothes for the office...I would be happy with just an outfit or two.  If anyone would be willing to do gather me a few things and bring them to St Vincents on that Saturday, I'd be very grateful! By the time the next exchange rolls around I will be able to attend :D Please let me know! :) Thanks  Jen

You could be there.  It is possible to get out very soon after surgery.  I had surgery on a Friday and Tuesday I was at the support group. Remeber the more you can do to be active the better.

true, I guess I just didn't want to assume I'd feel like stopping by...but since no one seems to be able to help me out, perhaps I'll just plan on stopping by on my way home :) I'll have to make myself well enough to get outta there on saturday in enough time to stop and "shop" for clothes and talk to y ou guys! :) hugs, jen
