Hello Does anyone know if there is a waiting period for eating hot sauce and tomato sauces. Thanks for any advice. Rebekah

I wasn't given a specific time...but they are both rather acidic and can irritate a baby pouch.  You might want to wait until your staple line is fully healed.  No sense in trying to get an ulcer at this point.   But after 3-4 weeks, I was having a bit a salsa juice on my refried beans.   Call your nut if you have a question, that's what they are there for. Blessings,

Annette
I can eat as much as I want...I just don't want much.

Rebekah, I was having problems with catup when I was still 6 months out. Anything acedic like that gave me ulcers. You may want to ask you nut. Of course, it would probably depend on how hot and how you were having it. A little dab in your refried beans to zest it up abit probably wouldn't hurt you. Dipping your grilled chicken in it to help it slide down though probably would. Sherri

I buy Glory hot sauce at Indy Meijer stores.  It is just spicy wenough to add flavor but not so hot it burns. Again as said ask your NUT to be sure.
