Hello all! I hope you had a good Monday! I went to tap dancing and had a great time. I also got my hair colored afterwards. Yeah! My grays aren't showing anymore. I really think 30 is too young for that, atleast for me. It's a pretty reddish color now.  Today I work at VR and at Sears, so it will be a long day, but tomorrow is a holiday! Neither me nor my husband have to go into work at all. WooHoo! Linda Vicory

Good morning friends! Yesterday, we 'hiked' over to Six Flags. When I called and made the reservation here at Jellystone, I was told that it was a 1/2 mile walk with one 'hill'. Wrong! It was 1/2 mile from our RV to the Jellystone entrance with a very steep, winding hill most of the way. Then...another half mile to the road you turn off to go into Six Flags (whi*****ludes a steady steeped hill!). Then another 1/2 mile to the admission gate. It really wasn't to bad going there...we were going downhill the whole way. On the way back though...after alreay walking all over the park?? Bill needed to stop several times to rest. Unless we find someone here at the park to hang around with & wouldn't mind giving us a ride there & back, I really doubt we go back over there. Ah well, there is alot here at Jellystone that we haven't checked out yet. I haven't even been in their pool yet!

Six Flags itself...the park was laid out bad. There is so many fingers in the paths that it's easy to just keep going in a circle! I thought Kentucky Kingdom was laid out much better. They didn't have as much, but at least you could figure out how to get to everything they had. Holiday World was laid out much better as well. So far...best of the 3? Holiday World. Oh, did I mention? We decided we are definately getting too old for some of this stuff. We rode a few coasters at KY and felt like we were beat up afterwards. We didn't ride any of the yesterday. I'm sure we'll make up for that at King's Island or Cedarpoint! Well..you all have a really good day! Sherri

That does sound like a long uphill hike after walking the park all day! Are you still going to be in TH on Thursday? Maybe you can send me your cell phone number so I can call if I have any problems finding ya! Linda Vicory

HOPE EVERYONE HAS A WONDERFUL 4TH. WE ARE BOTH OFF WORK BUT NOT DOING ANYTHING SPECIAL. I MIGHT GET THE BACK ROOM PAINTED AND MY DESK MOVED TO THE PC ROOM.  MIGHT TALK JIM INTO GOING OVER BY THE HOUSE TO WATCH FIREWORKS IF ITS NOT RAINING. BUT I DONT KNOW IT GETS DARK SO LATE AND I HAVE TO BE UP SO EARLY. AND BESIDES I AM NOT GETTING ENOUGH SLEEP BUT THATS MY FAULT. ANYWAY,  LINDA I CANT WAIT TO SEE THE NEW CUT AND COLOR. SHERRY SOUNDS LIKE YOU ARE HAVING A BLAST EXCEPT FOR THE HILLS AND SO ON.  WELL HAVE A BLESSED DAY ALL.  VICKI

Linda, You got mail! Yes, we'll still be at the KOA in TH on Thursday. Not sure what time yet. I wouldn't think it'd be before 2 though. On the way here, we stopped and had lunch in Pokohantas....the town where Gretchen Wilson is from. That was cool. There was memporabilia everywhere! Well...Yogi's train is about ready to go by. We usually sit out at our picnic table and wave at the kids on it...and get fumigated! LOL! That's the drawback to sitting in the path of tractor fumes. Then, in about 15 minutes, it's time for pancakes & sausage with Yogi! Woo-hoo! LOL! Then...I think I'll try my hand in their arcade! Oh...did I mention? I already walked 2.25 miles this morning? Felt great! Sherri
