So it's thursday for all of you out there working one more day til Friday!!!! WOOOHOO!!!

It's supposed to storm pretty bad today...

Tonight is the first roller derby practice!! I"M SO EXCITED!!! I went skating and didn't do too bad... hopefully all will go well... Just wanted to drop in and say what up yo...

I've been losing about 2 lbs a week... is that normal? I've been swimming about every day in my pool nothing extravagant about 25 laps... takes me 20 minutes to do that... our additions pool is pretty big..

Hi All,  Happy Thursday. I am so tired today, I could really use a nap. Not in the cards, though. This afternoon I have to take Mikey to basketball camp. I also have to take my online mid-term exam for school. Then at 6:30, Mike and I are going out to dinner with friends. I'm excited for that. It's always good to have a get away from work and the kids.  Linda Vicory

Ugh. It feels like it should be Friday today.  Just one of those days at work when NOTHING goes right.  If I can just get thru tomorrow things look better.  I work Mon and Tues then get 5 days off!. Sometimes it's harder to take days off than it is to work them becasue I have to write so many notes for the person that fills in for me.  So glad you are able to do the skating Jes.  I will come see you when you make the roller derby team!  Is 2 pounds a wk normal? sounds good to me and who is to say what is normal.  The numbers are going down, that is what matters.  Keep up the good work.  Don't get hurt tonite. Do you just skate or do you do the full contact thing at practice?

Tonight we're learning how to fall appropraitely and working on some basic skills such as skating backwards, falling, and stopping without using the toe stop as well as running on toe stops... then we're doing our core exercises.. the stronger your core is the harder you can smash into each other, I don't think we'll be doing any full body bashing that will probably be monday next week... then tryouts are the week after that on July 11th... wish me luck
