Heart Cath Results are In

Thank God that I am the one reporting the results of my Heart Cath today and not my wife.

The results are that the valve problem is not as bad as what showed up on previous test. There are for blockages, one is 100%, another is 90%, and two at 40%. The good news is that the two worst ones have bypassed themselves and are no real threat. The Dr does not feel that these are life threatening and surgery is not required at this point. I find it interesting that the two worst blockages have bypassed themselves. I think the Great Healer may have had his hand on this. Doc also gave me clearance to go ahead and get the hernia repaired that came about after WLS. So I will be in touch with my surgeon on that situation next week.

Thanks for all your prayers, I know they have been answered. I feel a big relief tonight as I send you this post. Now I can move forward with my ministerial studies and work and make plans for the future.

Dan, I prayed for you today and am so excited and thankful for your news. I know how scary this can be, my dad is going through some very serous health concerns right now. He has had cirrohsis for 4 years. He is a recovering alcoholic 20 years sober, but the damage got done. His cirrosis has turned to cancer and the only reatment is a transplant. His kidneys are bad also so he is being worked up on July5-6 for a liver/kidney transplant. Please add us to your prayer list. My dad is a chrisitian and has incredibly strong faith. He knows that God has him right where he wants him and he is walking with him through this whole thing. Sarah

Papa Dan, This is Great News. Im so happy for you. You deserve some good news after all the pain u went thru with you back. Im so glad u can get that hernia fixed now. Will Dr. C do that or someone else. I go see Dr C in 3 weeks for my one yr check up. As of 2 days ago I have lost 180 lbs in the last yr. Ive went from a size 30/32 and Im now wearing 16/18's. Ive still not had one problem from my surgery...Ive not thrown up at all...only had very small amt foamys about 4 times in the last yr.....I'd say this is another one to add to the Thank You Lord List for answering my prayer!!!!

Pam Thank you for your note. Yes Dr C will do the hernia fix for me. I will probably do it around August since I am already scheduled to have the twisted nerve in my elbow area operated on July 19th. You have done so wonderful this past year on your WLS journey. Wow, 180 lbs so far and no problems. I have now lost 225 in 19 months so I am half the man I use to be. The only problems I have had with the WLS have been my own fault for testing my eating, i.e. fried foods and a bit too much sugar in something. I have learned the hard way many a times. I hope I recognize you at the next clothing exchange. I am so glad the heart is not as bad as suspected and Ann and I can move on with our ministry. I just got my approval back today from the Secretary of State Office approving Packard Ministries Inc. as a Nonprofit Corporation. We formed the nondenominational nonprofit corporation as a Servant Ministry dedicated to prayer, visitation to those homebound, in hospitals, nursing homes, and prisons or detention facilities. We also do education and training. I have added your name to our Praise the Lord list for answering prayers with your WLS journey. Give our regards to Andy. Hi Dan, Congratulations on the good news about your heart. My stepmom had a similar experience. She went in for a test and even though they found a blockage, it had already bypassed itself. She told me she prayed really hard before the test and felt that God had answered her the such good results. I'm glad you received such a good answer too.
