Prayers

I am asking for prayers for my sister Marsha. She got her biopsy results back yesterday and she has breast cancer. We are staying positive about this. Her major concern is finding a doctor who accepts Aetna. She has called several of the names that Aetna gave her yesterday but either they no longer take it or have moved out of state. Marsha lives outside Tucson AZ.

Please keep her in prayer that she finds a good doctor who will make her a survivor.  Our mother died of breast cancer when Marsha was 9 and of course that weighs on her mind.  She has two boys at home yet, one 16 the other 10.   Thank you for being there for support. Julie

Julie, I am so sorry to hear that the results were not what you and your sis had hoped. Sometimes God's plan for us is far different than we could have seen for ourselves. I'm confidant that He will hold Marsha's hand and lead her down the path to the right people.  There are wonderful docs there in AZ, as you and I know so well!  She will find the one who will guide her through the treatment. In the mean time, I will continue to ask God to take special care of you and your family! Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help! Hugs, Andrea

Andrea,  Thank you for your kind words and support.  I can always count on you to be there for me to lean on.    Can't wait to see you.  Let me know about the dates you will be going to MI. Fondly, Julie

Julie, I know Marcha has to be scared to death right now. I know of no other word than cancer that can strike fear in a person (unless the word is Aides).  They are having much more success with Breast cancer than ever before. My MIL is a breast cancer survivor...from ~1980's. After my son's testicular cancer scare in Jan/Feb, I have alot more respect for that word. You may want to post your message on the AZ board. There may be people on it that would know of a specialist with Aetna. Please tell Marsha that people here in Indiana are all praying for her quick and full recovery. Sherri

Sherri, Thank you for the kind words.  You are right, she is scared, as are we all.

I had thought about posting on the AZ board, think I will.  The more people aware, the better chance we have of getting her a good doctor there.

I make sure I tell her of the support and prayers we have from everyone.  We are so grateful for all of you. Julie

Julie Ann and I have added Marsha, her family, and you on our daily prayer list.   Here a prayer that we share with folks who write us or we visit in hospitals and nursing homes. I pray that this will give you and Marsha and her family, some comfort at this time.

O Lord, in my present need, help me believe that You are aware of my anxiety and will do what is best for me.  Give me the strength to trust You and to put the present and future in Your merciful hands.   Amen Dan & Ann Packard Packard Ministries Kokomo , In
