18 month check in

Well the Dr. appointment went well.  Dr. C. is very happy with my weight.  She asked me what my biggest challenge has been, and I told her it was the emotional aspect.  I used to be really layed back, well not anymore.  I tend to say what Ithink without thinking it through.  Shocks most people who are used to the quiet me.  I also get angry quicker.  Its because I don't have food for comfort now.  She said she here's that all the time, and she should make shirt for us that say " stand back, I say what I think"  She did say that expressing things is good, because I don't want to go back to using food to cover it all up.  She told me I was doing fabulous and am right where I should be weight wise.  I did tell her about how bad of gas I have.  She asked if I am eating more carbs, and yep I confess I am.  She said excess carbs cause the gas, so I am going back to fitday.com and see whats going on.  She also said to use devrom, you can get it on line, and Marta the nurse that has had wls that works there swears buy it.  Stops the gas and makes it less smelly.  TMI I know. I need to post in picks.  I cut my hair short, because I lost so much of it and its red, and I've lost 10-12 pounds since my last pic. Sarah

Great job!!, I can relate on what you said about speaking before you think sometimes and being the quiet one always that was me to a T.  I do that and not too many family members are use to it as far as being more confident on what I say or do.  But you know on the other had we are coming out of our caccoon and becoming these Beautiful Butterflies  and everyone is not so use to us speaking our minds now, and I am sure we ALL hide behind the food or spouses. I will have to start thinking before I speak well at least try.....lol  I know Hubby would perfer me to do that and I think my kids too cause its normally taken out on them.  Is the only place on line to get that Devrom?   Any way you have done a great job and keep up the great work

She said you could get it from the pharmacy, but it would probably be special order.  She said its cheaper online. Sarah

I have two new bottles of Devrom someplace here at the house.  Are you coming to the clothing exchange?  I think I paid $10 for each one plus shipping.  If you want them, I'd be happy to sell them for $10.  Let me know!
