How is everyone this bright Sunday morning??? I feel terrific! I stayed at work yesterday to finish up the samples on run #2 (normally, only do 1 run a day) so I ended up there 15 hours. Since we can flex time, I'm using the time toward being off on one of our trips so..it's all good. I have 2 more runs to do and this crazy study should be done. Yep, they have the next one planned already! I'm going to try to squeeze in getting that pressure line replaced before that one starts. Other than watering my tomato plants, no plans today. It feels lazy..but so good! How are your guys veggie plants doing in this heat? I have this little pot for herbs. I think I'm going to bring that in the house today. I usually kill plants inside (lousy lighting for a plant) but it's getting too dried up out there. Maybe it will be so thrilled to be out of the heat that it'll grow! lol. Guess what?? I lost 4 pounds this week! Woo-hoo! I have been on a stand still for SOOOOO long! Usually when we go to Vegas, that will kick my metabolism into gear and me start losing again. This time, Holiday World did the trick! I just hope it keeps it up. I would love to be at my goal for plastics!! I know. We have several trips to help keep it going in the right direction. The funny thing is that I don't pay that close of attention to what I eat really when we are gone from home. This time though, I have gotten on a celery kick. If I get the munchies, I'll grab  a few stalks rather than crackers. For the times when I gotta have those crackers though, I bought a nice large supple of Carmen's Dr. Krocker crackers (Amazon.com)! A nyway, 3 more pounds and I will be back at my lowest ever (169) and 12 more I'll be at the goal I had set for pre-plastics. I sure hope more people decides to come to the Pampered Chef party Tuesday! So far, Brenda, Linda V, and I are going to have a good time. It looks like my daughter might have to work so not even sure if she'll make it. Remember ladies, you ALL are invited and you are welcome to bring guests!  You all have a good day today!! Sherri

Good Morning All! It looks like a beautiful Fathers Day out there! I have a day of shopping planned with my husbands ex~wife....lol sounds strange huh? :o) She is German and moved back to her country after the divorce so she only gets here about once a year to see their son. She loves the shopping here and every year I take her out and we do the circle city mall and some shops I like on the south side. We get along really well and it is so good for Jason to see us "bonding". He calls me Mom now and it touches my heart so deeply. He is a great guy and I am so thrilled to have him as a son.  I feel badly for his mom not to be around more and really get to enjoy the fruits of her labors so to speak. I usually love these shopping trips, however, I fell a week and a half a go and I am certain I broke a bone in my left foot that is healing...it is still swollen and soooo sore that walking for a great distance really takes a toll on it. I went and got my pedicure yeaterday and it was pure heaven soaking in the hot bubbles! :o) I just want it to heal so it will not impead my plastic surgery which is a month from today! I still can't belive it is going to happen......I never thought I would get a second chance at my body and now that it is here I am so excited. I ordered some leasure bras, and 3 pair of roomy white knit shorts and bought 2 pair of capri lounge pants and figure those with a tank top will be my recovery uniform. :o) I wanted something comfortable in the hot weather to lounge and sleep in while I am healing. I have checked out the plastics messageboards on here and I am amazed at the variety of results from this surgery. I am determined to do as I am told and get the best results out of my plastics. Well Yall, I am off here to get beautiful and get ready to shop! You all have a fantastic day and to all you fathers out there have a most wonderful day! Hugs! Marianne

Good morning, Sherri, and the rest of OH! We had a good time yesterday in Indy. The zoo was scorching hot though. They have quite a racket on the drink business there!  But we had fun, and that's what counts. Maggie had never been to the zoo before. She was really thrilled with all the animals. We didn't stay so long at the graduation party, it was a lot of their friends from Indy, and not too much family, so we didn't know many people there.  I hope all the father's on the board have a good day, today. I let the hubby sleep in, and went and got him a Sunday paper, and some plain doughnuts. (He can't eat any other kind, because the others have too much sugar, so these are a treat.) (LOL, I'm being good though with my fat-free cottage cheese and fruit for breakfast!) Linda Vicory

My tomatoes are doing pretty good.  We have quite a few little green ones right now.  Won't be long until we are making plenty of tomatoe juice!  Lots of work but well worth it.   Sherri.............how did you do on your first RV trip?  Did you find yourself making a long list of things to put in the RV for next time?  Before you know it you'll have everything you normally have in your house, in your RV.  At least that's the way it is with us.  I love to camp but not really a "ruff it" kinda camper!     We took the kids to Kings Island on friday.  Boy did we have a blast!  My girlfriend and her kids went along too.  It was a rewarding trip for my girlfriend and I.  We rode the scrambler for a celebration.  (the last time we went to Kings Island we rode the scrambler and we both had to push and struggle to get the bar down to hold us in.  This time it went down without any problem and we actually had room to move!!!!!!!!!!!)  I think I rode just about every roller coaster the park had!  What a fun time.  I sure did miss riding all the rides for so long.  It was like being a kid all over again!   WOOOO HOOOO! Hope everyone has a great week ahead!

Claudette, I have a feeling that we are going to find 'something' that we think of each time we go that will go on that list! LOL! The longest list was the one we made from our maiden journey last fall. We are just now getting the last item on that list accomplished...reupholstering the seats. EVERYTHING was upholstered in dusty rose patterns. Some girly-girl definately chose this color scheme! There's trim around all of the windows and it is even done in a solid dusty rose. That, of course is staying but the two captain chairs & door panels up front, the 'grandma chair' in back, the two little pillows, and the tables seat & back cushions are all being redone in a dark blue pattern that has a little bit of tan in it (to blend with the carpet). All but the front stuff will be done next week. The front stuff will be done the 2nd week of July. Our schedule right now is: 6 flags: Kentucky...6/22-24, St. Louis...6/30-7/5 King's Island:  7/13-16 Indiana Beach: 7/22-29 Fun Spot: 8/3-5 OH Camp (Hope's): 8/10-12 Cedar Point: 8/25-31 LOTS of coaster time!! RV camping is the type of camping I enjoy!! Let's see...we have a bed, bathroom, kitchen (complete with fridge, freezer, stove/oven, microwave, table, coffee pot, and toaster!!), laptop (with free WIFI at most places we'll be staying at), 30" TV with DVD player. What more could you want on vacation???? LOL! I know, I do most of the cooking...well, Bill grills, but you know what I mean. I do more cooking when we're camping than I do at home!! LOL! But you know I keep it very simple since there isn't alot of space in the cabinets for foods or pans! I do have a logic puzzle in there (like I do at home) for potty time (some people read, I do a crossword! LOL!!). And I make sure I bring what-ever Netflix we have at the time. I can't really think of anything we have at home that we would really miss on the road. Most things, we bought a duplicate just for the rv.  I know what you mean about fitting in the rides! Last year, I got bruised though because I wasn't wedged in there!!! One of the rides we went on at Holiday World last weekend, Bill came very close to not fitting in it. I felt bad for him. When it happened to me a few years ago, it would not  go at all (at King's Island for the Beast) so I'm really hoping the coasters bars will fit him. He would be heart broken if he couldn't ride them. I think he'd be about decided to have a RNY if they didn't! Of course, I could tell him what would help him drop the lbs...but I think that would probably be a  for me to do... Sherri ps...Just gave each of my tomato plants a 5 minute drink! 1 of the plants (a super beef steak) had 2 tomatoes on it that was half rotten on the bottom half. Picked them off so they wouldn't be sucking nutritions away from good tomatoes. I have 7 plants...5 beef steaks (had a 6th but the idiot that does our lawn weed whacked it down!), and 2 super beef steaks. I have my first almost red tomato on one of the beef steaks. It'll probably be ready to pick by Wednesday. I checked and I also have some new blossoms coming on now. With this dry spell, the blossoms have been slow to grow.
