It's Saturday!

Hi all, how are you doing? It's Saturday, and I'm a happy camper for it. No work anywhere today. I'm planning to take Maggie to her swimming lesson, and go lap swimming while she's in her lesson. Then we're going to Indy for my cousin's high school graduation party, and we might go to the zoo.  Linda Vicory

My sisters wedding shower is today... I suppose I should be excited but every time there is something going on that has to do with my sister it's a big fiasco so this should be an event to say the list... It's days like today that I wish I could just have a little bit of alcohol...

My creeping crud has calmed down finally so i don't itch anymore...

Pam how is your poison ivy doing? I hope it's starting to get bettter... My sister is deathly allergic to it and i know it can be painful...

It's such a nice day.  I wish i could take Gwyn out to do more stuff, but she's not really supposed to use sunscreen until 6 months, and so I try to limit her exposure to the sun.  Sounds like everyone is planning on a great day.  TOmorrow is our first Father's day as a family.  WE're spending a wonderful today together- I love those days.  They are rare that we get to just relax as a family.  Well, it's time for wonder pets, so I'm going to sit down with Gwyn and get some noggin in.

Jess,  Im doing much better.  I still itch some but nothing like I was.  It took about 48 hrs for the injections to really start working but the last 2 days have been so much better.  I am back to work after 9 days off.   What did u have that was causing your itching???  I tell you if my itching had of kept up it sure could have drove me to drink and I didnt even drink before surgery..... I hope everyone has a great weekend.  Its good to see so many new ppl posting.  Good luck to all those seeking a for pre certification. Pamela

We thought my creeping crud was folliculitis... but it was chiggers... it just looked like folliculitis because i'm allergic to bug bites... so a lot of nail polish and sevin dust later they are now gone from my yard... I hate chiggers and mosquitos... those two bugs had to be invented by the devil because they are AWFUL!!! My mosquito bites swell up so bad i have to get steroid shots sometimes so i just stay in the house when the mosquitos are out...

I'm glad you're doing better though... Although I wonder if it's a good thing that you're baack to work!!! LOL

Im glad u found out what was causing it and it was such an easy fix.  I just hope the next time I get 9 days off of work that I get to enjoy it more than I did this break....It was no fun...I would have had more fun at work.... Last night was a good night for my first night back.  Im putting into night for my vacation.  Looks like in 2 or 3 weeks I may be starting a new job so I better get some work done on the house and get my hinny moved in that new one becouse once I start the new job they wont want me talking any time off for 6 to 8 weeks.  The will have me in training then.  Im just thrilled its considered a transfer and I wont be losing my 4 weeks vacation.  I would hate to start over at bottom scare and only one or two weeks vacation that first yr. Are u doing anything exciting on your summer off?  I remember last yr enjoy  my 6 weeks off after my surgery.  I could have went back to work after that first week but I milked it for all I could.   My job has been so miserable the last yr with all the changes going on Im actually looking forward to the move....and I hate moving. I'm mostly just going to the pool sitting in the sun, reading books... things I love!!! My grandma is here so spending time with her is awesome and I'm finally getting to fix my yard the way I want it... hence the chiggers!! LOL I'm so happy i have so much more energy though...

Hey everyone! Well..here I am at work.. I've been here since 5:40 this morning. I'm debating on staying to get both runs completed today (~10-11  tonight) or leaving after I get the 2nd one started and coming back in tomorrow to fini**** up. Guess I'll see how I feel afterwhile. Right now, I'm on a little bit of a lag time. ~20 minutes, I'll be hopping again. Hope you all are enjoying this LAST WEEKEND BEFORE SUMMER STARTS!! LOL!
