Going to be at St. V's tomorrow for my 18 month check, 10:00 a.m.  I will stop and see Gail and Jennie.  Anyone else going to be there?    I haven't posted much lately, but I check in daily.  I'm doing pretty good, under my goal weight, which is pretty unbelieveable.  Had some bad news recently, my dad has suffered from cirrohsis for about 4 years and kidney disease, he used to drink heavily but has been sober for 20 years now.  Found out last week he has developed liver cancer, and the only treatment for him will be a kidney/liver transplant.  He starts the work-up for it on July  5th and 6th.  If he can tolerate the surgery they hope to have him on the list by the end of July.  he will be at the top because of the cancer.  Please pray for my family, hopefully the testing will show he is a good canidate. Thanks, Sarah

Hope your vist went well. Well why wouldn't it, you've done fantastic and look even better.  So sorry to hear about your dad. I hope they get him in for the transplant soon. Keep me posted. I'll be praying for him.  Did I see that his house is for sale?  I love that place from the road. If we hadn't just finished all of our remodeling I'd be looking at it. It is a big place and a lot of up keep. Hope you had a nice visit with Gail and Jennie.  Let us know how they are doing today.

No their not selling it, they just re- did it in 2001.  My dad want a game room to hang his trophies from africa.  We have an  elephant head on one wall, and a full mount lion. The original 1870 house is still attached but the rest of the house is new all 600o quare foot of it.  I grew up in a farmhouse with no heat in the upstairs . Now they have 4 bedrooms up there a full bath  and a  furnace.  Not fair I say, I just need to move home to experience it.
