Antibiotics?

Looks like I have caught some kind of flu bug.  I'm fighting a fever, chills, achiness etc.  No getting sick, thank god!  Anyway, are we at all limited or should we take a certain antibiotic?  I may go to the Urgent Care tomorrow if I don't feel any better and figure I need an antibiotic since I have a fever.  Right now I am just taking Tylenol.  Any suggestions would be appreciated.  I am off to crawl back into bed. Hi there, I can sympathize with you.  I just got back from the dr due to fever, cough, shortness of breath, etc.  Diagnosis:  Bronchitis.  I was given Zithromax liquid to take for 5 days.  My GI tract has always been sensitive to antibiotics and now being 1 month out from surgery I am concerned that by day 3 or 4, I will have diarrhea.  Guess I will have to wait and see.  I did ask the pharmacist to check the sugar level in the liquid and it was OK.  Hope you feel better soon.
