Heather, Has this just been since your surgery? Some people just aren't morning people. 3 things come to mind... Dehydration Thyroid B12 Too low of any of those can cause you to be sleepy..among other symptoms. Then again, I feel very sleepy in the morning if I don't tan. I guess I need that burst of light (and heat) in order to function correctly. I can tan for 20 minutes and cat-nap durring it and feel more alert during the day than if I had slept for an extra hour in bed that morning. Strange..yeah, I know. At any rate, best thing to do is to talk to your surgeon about it at your 3 month check-up. He/she may decide to order some bloodwork just to ensure that all is ok. I was about 3 months post-op when my thyroid decided to conk out. It was caught during a regular check-up.
