Hi folks Just got home from Carmel and had a wonderful visit with Jennie and Cheryl.  For the first time this past year I saw Jennie up and walking the halls.  She was not feeling to great today but still showed that same determination that this all will soon pass and she can start her WLS journey.  Please continue to lift her and Tom up in your prayers. Cheryl has high hopes that she may be discharged tomorrow.  They have removed the feeding tube and will be giving her soft food tonight.  She is up doing lots of walking and has logged in around 17 miles since this recent trip to St Vincent ’s.  Pray that she will be able to go home and not return to the hospital. I ask for your prayers for Ann and me.  I met with the hand surgeon today and they are going to operate on July 19th to try and release the pinched nerve in my elbow.  It will be day surgery and will take about an hour.  I also had a stress test yesterday and the results were given to me today that the test were abnormal.  I have a valve that is not working to the fullest and they expect blockage also.  I expect they will do a heart catherization before to long.  My cardiologist will be on vacation until July 2nd and does not feel their is a sense of urgency.  However, I think I am going to see they can get me in to see one of the cardiologists before then. I don't need the worry and stress of what is going on right now. .  I sure hope I do not have to go thru open heart surgery.  I have had enough surgery for this old model Packard.  However what ever it takes to carry out my ministry until God calls me home is what I will do.  I leave it all in His hands.    I got to head over to the Juvenile Detention facility and visit and young man there. Love you all Dan

Dan,  Thanks for the update.  That is great news about Jennie.  Sounds like she is making the rebound.   Hope everything goes well for Cheryl too.  I will be praying for you.  The Great Physician has everything in His control.  He made your heart and He is the best one to make the repairs.

I'm ashamed of what I did for a Klondike bar...
