stricture/stenosis/whatever
Vicki, I hope you're able to get hold of your surgeon today. So many things can cause ulcers. I was just naming off a few that I know of (some, by personal experience...lol). I'm sure there are several I don't have a clue about. Please let us know what you find out...k? Sherri

It definately sounds like ulcers. I went for an endoscopy about a month ago and found out that I had two of them!!! I was having the exact same symptoms as you. Dr. Inman put me on a higher dose of nexium, carafate and before I left the hospital she gave me protonix IV and I was able to eat pain free on the way home. I would definately call because I know how frustrating and painful they are.
I had an endoscopy about a month ago and I was nervous also. It was a breeze!!! They give you go drugs to make you sleep and the next thing I knew, I was in my room. I ended up having two ulcers and am doing much better now. Make sure to take someone with you because you probably won't remember too much for the rest of the day. My friend that went with me said that I talked to the doctor and I didn't even remember it.
