Good morning!

Except for me it is still the night before because I can't sleep! I can fall asleep in a minute during the night but at night my mind races and I think of things I just have to do! Ridiculous!

Today is supposed to be hot followed by three or four days of cool. I can't wait. I moved up here from southern Illinois because the summers were so much cooler. Not this year. But everyone has suffered this year. I'm looking forward to fall.

Have a good day and stay hydrated!

HI All,

It is early (3:57am), and I too cannot sleep.

I watched about an hour of the Olympics and decided to get up. In the old days, I would bake bread, but nowadays i do not bake because i will just eat it. I do miss the process of kneading the dough and the smell of my house while the bread bakes.

I will walk early today before it gets too hot. For the past month I have been doing the Leslie Sansone 2 mile walks, but it is really starting to bore me. But the heat has kept me indoors when I work out. But I will not complain, becuase I know next January I will be missing the sun and warmth.

Have a great day!

Sharon

Good Morning,

Randy, OH
time is Pacific Time. It is based in Irvine,Ca.

Connie, That use to happen to me too. I have trained myself to switch off my brain when my head hits the pillow. It doesn't help if I wake up and can't get back to sleep, and I wake up early thinking of what i ned to do  that day.

Sharon, my heart problems won't allow me to be exercising in the\is heat either. But, I do go to Walmart, Kmart, ect and walk the perimiter od the store a few times.

Kevin, its good to see that you are coming along.  don't forget to post us some pictures.

For those that are interested, I did post a couple of pictures of our vacation on FB. look in my profile.

I had a great day with my daughter, Annette yesterday. We went to the new Ross Store in Oswego, not impressed with the store at all. I bought some shot glasses for SIL birthday. Then we went to the Tap House for lunch. Had a great apple, walnut, grape salad. It was a good day.

Just a few errands today, then home to melt once again in the heat. I am so ready for fall also.

Hugs,
LISA

Morning Everyone!

I am with everyone else, enough of this heat!  Of course, come winter I will be whining about the cold, but then again, you cant please me unless it is in the 70's and sunny.

Connie, I hate it when I cant turn my mind off at night.  That is usually when I turn to a good book but that can backfire if it is too good.

Sharon, Congratulations on the stall breaking   That is such a great feeling.  Those stalls can drive you crazy.

Kevin it sounds like you are doing great.  Protein is hard to get in at first but keep working on it.  It will get there.  Dont be in a rush to introduce foods.  Remember that your new pouch is just like a new baby's tummy and you slowly introduce foods.

Carla, I am so sorry about your friend with bone cancer.  That is so painful.  I hope she is comfortable.  Good luck with your surgery.

Lisa, I hope you have an enjoyable day inside where it is nice and cool.

Randy, your adventures at group over the weekend sounded like fun.

Crystal, one more day closer to your own place again!

Dawn, what cooking venture is next for you?

Where oh where is Chris?????

Everyone have a great day!
